There are two types of new cards: the Visa® Platinum Rewards Credit Card and the Visa® Platinum Credit Card.
Your current card is being replaced because we are upgrading our credit card program to provide you with more options—like contactless payment and better rewards.
One-time payments will be unavailable two days prior and during the scheduled upgrade to avoid payments being applied to your old credit card number.
No, your rate on your card will remain the same.
Yes, you will receive a new credit card with a new number. This means you’ll need to update any automatic payments you have set up (like Netflix, utility bills, or Amazon).
Your new card features enhanced Contactless Chip Technology and can be used for tap-to-pay transactions at participating merchants.
Cards will be mailed by mid-October and should take 7–10 business days to arrive. They will come in a plain envelope, so please keep an eye on your mailbox.
Please call 800.449.7728 to report a lost or stolen credit card.
Your old card will stop working 30 days after the new card is mailed. Once you’ve received and activated your new card, please destroy the old card.
A contactless card contains a small NFC chip that allows for close-range payments. When you tap or place your card near the contactless symbol on a terminal, your payment is processed without swiping or inserting.
No. The payment address and customer service phone number will remain the same.
No. Current Cash Back cardholders will receive a one-time payout in October, and Rewards cardholders’ bonus points will be transferred to the new card.
Yes, you will continue to access statements and make payments through Online Banking following the upgrade.
Yes, your previous statements and transaction history will transfer to your new account.
