Tri County Area Federal Credit Union Donates $1500 to Local Police Department
(July 2019)

The Lower Pottsgrove Township’s Police Department is in search of funds needed to expand its use of officers’ body-worn cameras.

On July 25, 2019, Tri County Area Federal Credit Union’s president and chief executive officer, Andrew Pistoria, presented a $1500 check during the Township Board of Commissioners’ meeting. This check was one of two of which the department has received to start its camera program. Currently, they have one body camera that is being used by the department’s school resource officer, who is responsible in part for the department’s first response on law enforcement, public safety, and security-related matters in the Pottsgrove School District.   They are looking to purchase an additional 10 cameras.

We are proud to support the communities we serve.  Making this donation was a great opportunity to help the local police department, who are so valued within our community.
